idea of taking the web application model a step further and enabling support
for all types of applications. This includes applications that today are done
with native programming languages, such as the camera application or the
traditional dialer application. To facilitate these requirements, Firefox OS provides
a richer set of device APIs compared to traditional web browsers. In addition to traditional web browsers,
Firefox OS also have a privileged access model for applications. This ensures
that applications cannot access sensitive APIs without proper authorization.

the web application model is the openness, which is one of the reasons for the

to avoid creation of new proprietary technology. W3C has established a new
working group, Web System Application working group, which has support by a
broad range of players in the industries. Sony also supports this initiative,

starting to implement your first application, there are some resources that are
useful to consult. The Mozilla Developer Network has an extensive set of

Introduction
Sony was quick to release its flagship smartphone for the first half of 2013 – the Xperia Z. The company did its job ahead of everyone else and is now enjoying a comfortable specs lead against the current Android flagships on the market. But as we all know, specs ain't everything! Could it be that the Galaxy S III, one of the best smartphones of 2012, can still prove to be a worthy opponent to the Xperia Z, even though technological evolution is on the side of Sony's handset? Let us take a closer look and find out!

Design

There are some evident differences regarding the design language for both devices. On one hand, we have the Sony Xperia Z, which has this rectangular shape and all-glass body, while on the other there's the Galaxy S III with its rounded corners and plastic build. Generally, we'd say that the Xperia Z has the more striking appearance of the two, definitely the more stylish one, though the GS III is easily the winner when it comes to comfort, as its rounded edges make the device feel substantially smaller in the hand.
In terms of build quality, the Galaxy S III is really no match for the Xperia Z, as its thin, plastic body may be pleasant to the touch, but leaves a lot to be desired as far as sturdiness and materials go.

One thing we really appreciate about the Xperia Z is the fact that it's water- and dust-resistant, which is a feature that you cannot find in any other flagship smartphone, including the Galaxy S III.

Both the Xperia Z and Galaxy S III have a lot going for their displays, though both take very different approaches in that area. This is also one area where technological evolution has played its part, as the Xperia Z is armed with what seems to be the standard for high-end Android phones in 2013 – a 5” screen with 1080x1920-pixel resolution. This kind of size and res make for an amazing pixel density of 441 ppi, which means that pretty much anything that comes out on this screen is exceptionally sharp and clear. The GS III with its 4.8”, 720x1280-pixel resolution (306 ppi) screen is also very detailed and sharp, but of course the Z has the advantage here.

Being an advanced LCD screen, the one of the Xperia Z features much more realistic-looking colors, especially when compared to the Galaxy S III's colder tones. Overall though, the GS III is much more saturated and vibrant, so you may find it a bit more suitable for multimedia stuff, whereas the Xperia Z features the Mobile BRAVIA 2 engine, which also adds a certain degree of vibrancy to the image, but that feature only works in the gallery and video player, so overall you tend to end up looking at a slightly more lifeless image.

That said, the GS III has the dimmer screen, so keep this mind if you plan a lot of outdoor usage. Both handsets fail to impress with their viewing angles.
Introduction
The first tough guy that we're going to compare the Xperia Z against is Apple's finest – the iPhone 5. Both smarpthones are among the very best out there, so this is bound to be an interesting clash. Now, let's see how the Z is going to fare against the status symbol!

Design

We rarely have the pleasure of comparing two smartphones that are both outstanding in terms of appearance and construction. This is one of those rare occasions, though, so things are going to get quite interesting. Both handsets look spectacularly-well, so it will be up to you to decide which one you like better.

The Xperia Z has an all-glass design, similar to the iPhone 4 and 4S. As a result that handset is very seductive – much better-looking than what it would have been if it had a simple soft-touch plastic back. Sony really deserves credit here for going this way. In addition, both the front and back panels are perfectly flat making for a very clean and stylish appearance.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 5 has replaced the all-glass back panel of its predecessors with a dark-gray aluminum one, surrounded by two smaller pieces of glass from above and below.

It's also worth mentioning that the iPhone 5 is much lighter and smaller than the Z, so people who do not enjoy very big phones should keep this in mind.

Sony has actually taken both the customers and the competition by surprise by giving the Xperia Z some rugged features. The Z is IP57 certified, meaning that it's dust- and water-resistant – something that no competing high-end smartphone can offer, including the iPhone 5.

Aside from the obvious difference that the 5” display of the Xperia Z is much bigger than the 4” display of the iPhone 5, the Xperia Z has the advantage of the higher resolution – after all, it's a 1080p display that delivers a super-high pixel density of 441 ppi, compared to the iPhone 5's 326 ppi. Both pixel densities are extremely high and offer an incredibly crisp and clear image, with the Z naturally being a tad clearer.

However, when it comes to pure image quality, we actually find the iPhone to be superior. The displays of both phones are almost equally bright (the iPhone 5 has just a slight advantage there), but the Xperia Z's screen has a significantly lower contrast, and slightly less saturated colors, making it appear a bit washed out and not as vibrant as the iPhone 5's. Sure, the Xperia Z features the Mobile BRAVIA 2 engine, but that enhancement simply makes up for the difference between the two phones when you're viewing photos or watching video in the gallery. Do not expect it to blow the iPhone 5 out of the water.

In addition, the Xperia Z's viewing angles are quite poor – the overall image quality tends to degrade quickly as you start tilting the phone. Of course, some quality degradation is also visible with the iPhone 5, but to a much smaller extent.

Need a getaway from the familiar sights of Fairhaven City? Terminal Velocity seamlessly adds a large chunk of fresh land to Need for Speed Most Wanted in the form of an international airport, which offers a wide array of terrain to explore. It feels truly unlike any other location on the map, allowing you the opportunity to speed through terminals and vault up to the rooftops of the flashy, modern structure — but that’s only the half of it.

Compared to the more realistic and somewhat buttoned-down terrain of Fairhaven proper, it almost feels like a whimsical carnival of four-wheeled amusement. And Terminal Velocity lets you make the most of it with the new Jump Nitrous mod, which pushes your ride further in the air for maximum distance; you’ll even find Drift Tires that spew colored smoke.

Luckily, this downloadable expansion gives you ample opportunity to use both of those features in its new locale, via original single-player modes — Drift Attack and the object-bashing Smash and Grab — plus 23 multiplayer events found on 30 online SpeedLists. Add to that five new cars (including the sleek Porsche 918 Spyder 2013), more billboards and fences, and multiplayer milestones, and you have a huge block of excellent DLC that’s as fun as the on-disc stuff — and maybe even more so.

How To Root and Unlock Bootloader of Xperia Z (yuga)

HOW TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER OF XPERIA Z

WARNING: The SD card of your device will be formatted and you will lose all content (for example photos, music, videos) when you unlock the boot loader

First, you should confirm that it is possible to unlock the boot loader of your phone by checking the service menu. In your phone, open the dialler and enter *#*#7378423#*#* to access the service menu.

In your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.

GO Here and click Yes, I am Sure.

Read through and accept the legal terms. Click I Accept.

Enter your name, a valid email adress and the first 14 digits of your phone’s IMEI or MEID number (remove the last digit if necessary). Click Submit. You can view the IMEI or MEID number by entering *#06# on your phone.

The unlock boot boot loader key will be sent to your email. Save it for later use.

Download and install the latest Android SDK from developer.android.com.

Download and unzip this file. This is the standard android_winusb.inf-file, with a few lines of code added to enable Fastboot to support Sony and Sony Ericsson devices. Make sure you are running Google USB Driver package revision 4 or higher in your Android SDK. You can see current Google USB Driver package revision in the SDK Manager.

Place the unzipped file in the usb_driver folder, located in the Android SDK > extras > google folder on your computer. Accept to replace the old android_winusb.inf-file with the new file. If you can't find the usb_driver folder, please install the Google USB Driver Packager using the Android SDK manager.

Turn off your phone.

On your phone, push and hold the Volume up(+) button at the same time as you connect the phone to the computer with a USB-cable.

On your computer, you will be asked for drivers. Point to the usb_driver folder where you placed the android_winusb.inf-file, and select the Android Boot loader Interface-file.

Go to the tools folder within the Android SDK folder and Open a command window(press shift button and right click on the window and select Open Command Window here).

Enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version, and verify that you get a response back (for example "0.3"). This means your phone is connected properly.

Warning! If you perform this step, you will unlock the boot loader. This may void your warranty and/or any warranty from your operator. If you still want to unlock the boot loader of your phone, enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY, where KEY is the unlock boot loader key you got in the beginning of this instruction. The boot loader should now be successfully unlocked.
